Rendering of a Dartmoor house
"Just a note to say how pleased we are with the work completed by your company. It was well organised, efficient and professionally carried out. It was a pleasure to have Darren and Bob and Gareth on site, as well as Richard, and we were impressed with the quality of the work, as well as the attention to detail, tidiness, and sensitivity to both our needs and the consideration shown to the impact any work might have on our neighbours. We would strongly recommend you to anyone!"

Customer Sale
"Thank you for your consistently efficient service. Your prices were less than a company which is located much closer geographically and indeed better than at least 6 others. We can now complete our current lime repointing project. We look forward to giving your company custom again."

Repairs to Woolladon Hall
"Being new to Devon and having recently purchased Woolladon Hall, as Grade 11* listed thatched stone and cob building requiring a considerable amount of renovation, I needed a specialist builder. Sourcing a list of builders was not difficult. To narrow the search I decided to select someone who was local and had the necessary traditional building skills. My main concern was to find a specialist builder who was trustworthy and sympathetic towards old historic buildings.
Jerry Sharpe was a delightful find, apart from being trustworthy and reliable; he is friendly, always contactable and prepared to explain various building techniques and finishes using cob, lime mortar & plaster as well as the more modern building materials. In addition to wall structure repairs carried out, he has also undertaken timber strengthening within the house and traditional cob barns, chimney repointing, slating and floor laying.
I would have no hesitation in recommending J & J Sharpe for their excellent building services for the older property."
